The challenge
Patient records sat in per-clinic SQL databases with inconsistent schemas. Reporting was manual Excel work that took analysts days, and leadership had no real-time view of capacity or outcomes ahead of a funding round.
What we did
We built CDC ingestion into an S3 lakehouse, modelled it with dbt under strict PHI access controls, and shipped role-based Looker dashboards. A gradient-boosting model predicts appointment no-shows three weeks out, automatically triggering outreach workflows.
